Real estate sale prices are up slightly, and sales are picking up in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Listed below are some highlights from February 2024 in comparison to the month of February 2023 in the real estate market in the (GTA).

Average home prices for the month of February 2024 were up 1% and sales up 18%. In the 416 area, all average prices were down in all housing segments except semi detached homes. I assume with the high borrowing costs most buyers are choosing to buy a semi detached rather than wait to be able to afford a detached home. Average condo prices in both the 416...

Real estate sales in the Greater Toronto Area were down in all housing segments except condos for the month of December 2022 in comparison to the month of December 2021. 

Sales in the Greater Toronto Area are down in all housing segments except for condos for the month of July 2021 in comparison to the month of July 2020. 

Condo sales in the Greater Toronto Area are back and strong in the month of June 2021 in comparison to June 2020. Condo sales in the 905 area are up a massive 78.4% and 48.6% in the 416 area. Average prices were also up in the 905 area 15.9%.

Greater Toronto Area average home sale prices are up 13.3% and sales are up 24.3% compared to the month of November 2019. Detached home sale prices have increased the most in the 905 area among all home types by 19.2% in November 2020 compared to November 2019.

Greater Toronto Area average home sale prices are up 16.9% and sales are up 29.5% compared to the month of July 2019. Detached home sale prices have increased the most in the 416 area among all home types by 25.5% in July 2020 compared to July 2019.

The real estate market for the greater Toronto area in the month of February 2020 has gone up in sales by an astounding 45.6% which is well beyond the sales compared to February 2019. The detached home sale segment continues to drive up the overall average home price.

The real estate market for the greater Toronto area in the month of January 2020 has started off hot compared to January 2019. Less properties for sale and more home buyers in the market have raised home prices to start 2020. The strong detached home sale segment is driving up the average price.
